WHAT IS THE KATANA REWARD CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN?

KATANA consortium is launching, as a part of its Agribusiness accelerator program, a reward crowdfunding platform – https://katanareward.opencircleproject.com/ – in order to support KATANAs Top100 consortia to raise additional funding from contributors. The innovative start-ups and SMEs can use these money as to proceed with the implementation of their business plans. If they succeed to be placed in TOP 10 across 3 segments, they will proceed to the next phase and earn 100.000€ subsidy and supporting services from KATANA accelerator.

WHO IS RAISING MONEY?

The money will be raised by SMEs and start-ups that were selected during the peer-to-peer evaluation process and formed their cross-sectoral or cross-border consortia during KATANA matchmaking weeks. In total, 54 consortia pitch their innovative ideas with the aim to raise money. The consortia are divided in the categories ‘Smart Farming’, ‘ICT’ and ‘Personalized Nutrition’.

WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE AND HOW?

All people across the world can contribute financially and support the teams represented on the KATANA Reward Crowdfunding Platform as long as they are over 18 years old. If you want to support one or more of the KATANA consortia, you can do so by simply becoming a user to the platform and contributing through the payments mechanism. You will be asked for some personal information (name, nationality, address) before you can contribute by credit or debit card or using your bank account.
