H2020 KATANA on 4th Cluster Matchmaking in Warsaw

250 participants was represent 150 different clusters from 30 European countries in Warsaw on 4th Cluster Matchmaking Conference. Vojvodina ICT Cluster presented Horizon2020 KATANA Project.

The core of the conference is the matchmaking meetings.

Since the first matchmaking conference in 2013, more than 230 clusters from 35 countries have had over 1.200 matchmaking meetings. These meetings have led to over 130 Innovation Express projects where more than 3.300 companies – especially SME’s – have benefited with access to new markets, knowledge, networks and collaboration on new innovation.

And several participants meeting at the conferences are now part of larger partnerships or have joined forces for applications to EU programmes. Several of these partnerships have also succeeded in getting approved EU applications.

500 meetings in three hours!

The Cluster Matchmaking Conference is a strategic action activity under the framework of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region Flagship Programme, BSR Stars and is supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers. BSR Stars aims to catalyse international, collaborative innovation activities in the Baltic Sea region.
