First Open Call of the KATANA Accelerator

KATANA business accelerator will support innovative ideas in technology applications, and is aimed at startups, SMEs, and in the first phase, individuals, too active in agriculture, food production and distribution, ICT, or emerging industries.

This accelerator aims to identify innovations with the greatest growth potential in agri and ICT sectors, as well as emerging industries, such as GPS, drones, and the Internet, and will create unique business and financing models.

Selected startups and SMEs will gain access to knowledge, technology, capital and markets, with an overall aim of improving their competitiveness at a global scale as well as accelerating cross border and cross sectoral collaboration. The best ten will be financially supported with EUR 100.000.

Open call launches on December 1, 2016, and closes on February 28, 2017. A 2-minute video pitch is all it takes to apply.
